A client of ours in the West End, requested a simple floral arrangement for her kitchen table using spring flowers. Nothing says spring like beautiful tulips. It was the perfect opportunity to use a twist technique that Kyo learned in New York while studying with Michael George. To create this monochromatic architectural look, the stems were shaped into precision and then set into a clear vase – minimalist chic.

With Cherry Blossom Season just around the corner we are reminded of our time spent in Japan and the beauty of spring. It also makes us think back to the beautiful Ann Sacks ‘Sakura’ hand painted tiles that formed the magnificent wall mural that we installed in our Roseburn Estate Project. Love this season!

A little history about our new home in the Victoria Block…

“The first and central building, Victoria, was built in 1898 at the time of the great Gold Rush. Built to house prospectors, explorers, and new comers searching for gold in our wild and rugged British Columbia. The second building, Victoria Block, was built in 1908 to house the numerous real estate offices for the turn of the century real estate boom. The two buildings stand proudly at the corner of Homer and Pender Streets.” – Victorian Hotel –

ZWADA home – New Location

ZWADA home is pleased to announce that we will be relocating to the Victorian Block at 336 West Pender Street, Vancouver. Normal operations are expected to resume on March 4th, 2013.
